When we last spoke to graphic designer and artist John Maeda in November, he had just become president of the Rhode Island School of Design.

Recently, Maeda began contributing to Harvard’s Business blog. His recent post about the intersection of industry and academia discusses the overlap between the commercial and intellectual worlds, which sometimes struggle to understand one another. His entry is punctuated with clever drawings, showcasing his graphic skills and contributing to his argument with icons.
