When the exhibit Intended Consequences opened at Aperture in New York, photographer Jonathan Torgovnik told FLYP about the poignant experience of interviewing and photographing women who had survived the Rwandan genocide.
Now you can listen to their stories in a fascinating multimedia piece hosted on MediaStorm. The women talk about how rape and torture affected their lives, and how the children they bore have been both a burden and a comfort.
